You have different options on how to get to Sorrento from Naples, it depends on the method of travel you prefer and the time of year you are travelling.

By Train - There are two train services. The Circumvesuviana is the cheapest one and the trip takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the train for tourist called Campania Express.

By Ferry Boats - A faster option is the public ferry that takes about minutes to get to Sorrento. Daily service of ferries and hydrofoils are available from Molo Beverello in Naples to Marina Piccola in Sorrento. The service could be unavailable in case of rough sea.
